Cerberus

Cerberus or the hound of Hades is the child of Echidna and Typhon, he is a three headed dog who guards the gates of the underworld making sure no dead leave. He was in many Greek myths but most famous of them is Heracles twelve labors where he captures Cerberus.

The Hydra

The Lernaean Hydra

The Lernaean Hydra is a multiheaded serpentlike monster, like Cerberus the Hydra is also a child of Echidna and Typhon and was featured in the twelve labors where he is killed by Heracles. The hydra is perhaps most famous for its ability to regenerate 2 heads for every head it loses.

The Chimera

The Chimera

The Chimera is a creature composed of many different creatures most famously it is depicted as having a lion head with a goat’s head coming from its back and it tail being a snake. The Chimera like is siblings is also a child of Echidna and Typhon. The Chimera was killed by the hero Bellerophon as told in the Iliad.
